Why do we care about grassroots music and independent venues?

At Favourite Days, we believe that grassroots music and independent venues are the heart and soul of the music community. They provide a platform for emerging talent, foster creativity, and bring unique and authentic experiences to audiences. Supporting these venues helps sustain a vibrant music culture and keeps the spirit of local music alive. We’re dedicated to reinvesting in the community to ensure that both artists and venues thrive. Together, we can keep the music scene dynamic and full of life.

How does the community fund work?

All profits from Favourite Days are reinvested into the local music community. This means funding opportunities for emerging talent and local bands in the independent Liverpool venues that are the lifeblood of the scene. Events will be promoted through Pink Dot, or we will team up with other independent promoters. By doing this, we help smaller, riskier, and more diverse shows succeed and contribute to a vibrant and sustainable music culture. Additionally, local bands can access festival funds to organise their own showcase events, further enhancing their visibility and growth. This cycle of support ensures a thriving music ecosystem for everyone involved.
